In 2006, in Sydney Australia, Raj Makanjee had a vision to create a wholesale business selling hair accessories. With that vision in mind, Raj carefully selected the first range of products to be produced under the now well-known brand of Point Accessories. Discount stores we're his first port of call. Travelling all over Australia to cultivate relationships with customers that still buy from us to this day.

After a number of years in the wholesale business Raj saw a great potential in Queensland. He decided to pick up his growing family and move to the Gold Coast, in South East Queensland. From the Gold Coast warehouse business boomed and orders were not only coming from discount stores. Supermarkets, pharmacies, post offices were all placing orders. Of course, the range was now a lot bigger! Not only was Point Accessories about hair but also personal care, kids accessories and fascinators.

Then in 2014 our second wholesale business, Matador Wholesale, was combined into our warehouse. Matador Wholesale was established in 1979 to distribute a wide range of products to Service Stations throughout Queensland and Northern N.S.W.

Since then, the business has increased and improved its range with an inventory of over 2000 product lines on offer. We are continuously researching new products along with great pricing. This allows us to not only supply car related items but also consumables, cleaning products, grocery lines and even fishing and camping accessories!

But we weren’t finished there. The next year Asra Aromas was added to our company and it has not stopped growing since! Giving a fresh look to well known brands Magic Scents and Bellissimo that have been in the marketplace for over 40 years was our first step. After the astronomical response from buyers for these products we got to work on our other ranges. We want to make beautiful fragrances in stunning packaging and that is what we have done.

Fast forward to 2021, Point Australia is now a favourite among all our customers! And now you can order from all three suppliers in one place.
